and having a great time. The poses will be suited for children
ages 2-5, but any age is welcome to this class. There will
be plenty of teachers and parents to help out with infants
or where needed. We are hoping to create a loving and laughing
bond between the parents and children by spending quality
time with the kids while pretending to be all the animals
we can imagine! You can pre-register

class.
Yoga
for Cyclists and Runners
Sunday, June 29th, 12-2pm
Cost: $43
Registration is required for this event. Click here
to register.
Balance your biking and cycling routine with a few simple
yoga poses to prevent injury, strain and long-term damage,
as well as improve balance and flexibility.
Bicycling and running are fast-paced sports,
and it's easy to forget the value of slowing down to stretch
after a long ride or run. Yoga can not only help prevent stiffness
and soreness with great stretches, some poses can help you
improve balance, posture and strengthen muscle groups that
otherwise get "left behind" in a cycling or running
regimen. This workshop was created to introduce you into a
safe stretching regimen and to improve the fluidity of your
sport. Registration is required for this event. Click here
to register.

Partner
Yoga Class
Friday, April 18, 2008 7:30-9:30pm
Cost: $43 per couple, $23 per individual
Our Partner Yoga exercises will be a fun way to dissolve
tension and establish a natural state of harmony in body,
mind, emotion, and spirit, while enjoying your partner.
Touch is seen as a basic human need that, in our modern busy
lifestyle, is generally not satisfied. Partner Yoga offers
us the chance to fulfill that need in a healthy way.
In the poses, partners will rely on each other's support to
keep correct body alignment, balance, and concentration. In
a deeper sense, this physical support fosters deeper feelings
of nurture and acceptance. When you feel safe and supported
you develop the courage to trust others and the strength to
confront your fears and embrace your true self. Some poses
challenge your balance, strength and flexibility, others require
your total trust and surrender. Each pose uses the power of
the partner to achieve more than one person could alone.
Partner Yoga can be practiced by
anyone. You do not need to bring a partner to participate.
There will be plenty of partners available!
Partner Yoga offers something unique
to couples, parents and kids, and friends.
For couples, practicing Partner Yoga is a great way to strengthen
the relationship by fortifying trust and communication and
deepening intimacy.

energies. Classes start March 4 and will cost $15 drop-in

About Shapeshifting
This meditation series will focus on shapeshifting/transforming
your life, your energy, your beliefs, and your way of walking
in the world. Each class will focus on one of the seven windows
or portals into shapeshifting your life.
With war raging on around the world, the Earth choking on
polluted water and air, and more and more people sinking into
depression, there is no better time than now to raise the
consciousness of ourselves, our communities and our planet.
Many cultures have predicted this time of change we are in.
Ancient Andean traditions, for example, say we are in the
Pachacuti, a time of testing where we will see if the Eagle
(the masculine, Western head energies peoples) can once again
fly in the sky with the Condor (the feminine, indigenous heart
energies peoples). Each of us personally also struggles with
balancing the Eagle and Condor energies within. For too long,
we have learned how to separate into loneliness and despair,
how to separate into groups of hate and exclusiveness, how
to separate our head from our heart.
Today is the time to begin (or continue working on) finding
our oneness with ourselves and all things in the universe.
By discovering our mission of why we have decided to be born
into this world at this time, increasing our awareness of
self, others and the universe, and by removing any barriers,
we can live happier lives, making a difference in our communities.
We begin with awareness:
March 4: Connect into your self-awareness, learning to walk
in the world, aware, rather than walking by the world, not
noticing.
March 11: Remember your mission, which will set you on a new
course in life or give a boost to your current path.
March 18: NO CLASS
March 25: Re-discover your core self, peeling away the onion
layers that have kept you from feeling the power of your core
self.
April 1: Connect to Arutam, the fifth element, ether, or the
Goddess/God or Spirit element that permeates, animates all
things.
April 8: Reincorporate spiritual sensuality, feeling the dualism
of body and Spirit slip as you experience how body and spirit
work together to help you relate to self, the planet and other
people; separation fades; oneness emerges.
April 15: Revamp your relationships, beginning to communicate
at the heart level with rocks, plants, animals and other humans.
April 22: Move into community, by learning that as you shift,
you will help shift those around you.
This program is based on the teachings of John Perkins, founder
of Dream Change, a grassroots group dedicated to changing
the dream so that we all may live in peace on this planet.
John is also author of several books, including The World
is as We Dream It, Shapeshifting and NY Times Bestseller
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.
Come for one, or join us for all seven meditations!

Restorative
Yoga Workshop with Cheryl Thomas
February 24th,
2008 12-2pm
Cost: $35
The focus of this gentle practice is to create a foundation
of mental, emotional and physical relaxation that resonates
into all aspects of your life. Through supported poses, breath
awareness and simple meditation techniques, we'll restore
health and vitality to the body and mind. From this still
place, the body is more able to access its natural ability
to cleanse, heal, rest, sleep, grow, conceive and build immunities.
This workshop is open to yogis of all backgrounds, levels,
sizes and ages. No yoga experience is necessary.
What is Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga focuses on relaxing the body in restful,
supported postures. Note that 'rest' is different than sleep.
Rest provides the body an opportunity to renew and heal.
What You'll Experience
We know that stress can make us sick. In this workshop we'll
discuss the causes of stress and how the body reacts to stress.
Then we'll practice supported yoga poses that allow the body
to "rest deeply" bringing the body back into equilibrium
and giving it the opportunity to heal itself.
This will be one of the most important practices
of yoga you'll experience. Give yourself this unique opportunity.
Your body and mind will thank you.
Cheryl Thomas is a 500-hr. Yoga Alliance
member and a yoga instructor in San Francisco and Dallas.
She is certified in the Relax and Renew method by Judith Lasater.
Along with her yoga teachings, she holds a certificate from
the Institute for Holistic Health Studies at San Francisco
State University and is trained yoga therapist.

Circle of Seekers: Dancing
with Chi
We had our first Dancing with Chi journey
and it was alot of fun. We started with some movements to
awaken our chi (energy) and then began to feel the chi as
if it were a tangible object. We then moved on to explore
other peoples chi, feeling the warmth, and magnetic force
between two beings . It was a very open circle with room to
express what you were experiencing at any given time.
